4 New additions!
We have had an interesting few weeks at the Witherspoon house. Roxy had her 4 puppies. There are 3 boys and 1 girl. We have fallen so in love with them. It is going to be hard to get rid of the boys. We are keeping the girl. We all tried to choose a name for her and at first we had 2 names picked out. They were either going to be Quinney or Tizzy. James didn't like either of those names, so we picked 2 more names. They were Sofi and Saydie. Kaleb loved Saydie and Austin loved Sofi. So we decided that we were going to out Austin and Kaleb's names into a hat and I would draw their name. And whichever name i drew, got to draw in a hat for the puppies name. Kaleb won, and he ended up drawing..... Sofi's name. So We are keeping little Sofi!

With Great Thanks!
When your having a bad day, it is so nice to have certain people that you can talk with, to help you feel better. I have a few certain people in my life that i can turn to and to them I say THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart! You know who you are and I love you dearly!

5th Grade Valentine Tea

Today Kaleb had to dress up for school. They are having a valentine tea at school. He informed me last night around 530 that he wanted to wear a sweater vest so that he didn't have to wear a suit jacket. So off we went to the store. We ended up going to 5 stores before we finally found one. He looks handsome.

Long time no see
It has really been a long time since i have blogged. Ill do my best to catch up...
Thanksgiving was fun. We had an early on because James was not going to be home. So i made my usual delicious Turkey feast. Yummy! Then we went to Julies house and had a big dinner with her and some of her family. It was alot of fun.
Christmas came and went. James was not home again for this holiday, but we were lucky to have him home every Christmas since then. So we figured that it was ok. On Christmas morning we woke up and did a few gifts and saw what santa brought the boys and then we packed up and went to Vernal to go and stay with James in his trailer at work. It was nice to get away for a few days.
On January 2nd, James' dad Carmelito Marin passed away. He had been sick for a while. We wished that we would have been able to get out to the Philippines to see him before he passed away. But we were not able to afford it then. We are planning on taking the 4 of us out there as soon as we can afford to do so.
The first week in January some very dear friends of ours had a big scare at their house. They are lucky to be alive with the amount of carbon monoxide in their house. So Questar and Logan city told them they had to move out until the landlord fixed everything. They came to our house and stayed with us for about 3 weeks. It was hectic. But it was fun. They are family to us and they needed the help. So we did our best to make it comfortable for them to be here.
James and Austin had their birthdays. I wont mention James age, but he definitely doesn't look like his age. I am had a hard time with Austin turning 14. I cannot believe that he is that old already. This time next year he will be driving. That is hard to wrap my head around.
The last weekend in January my wonder Aunt and Uncle planned and executed an amazing birthday party for My sweet Great Aunt Renee. She had never had a party before, so this was her first one in her 79 yrs of life. It was a great party! I was amazed at the planning and preparing that my family had to do to pull it off. I was honored to be asked to help. I spent so much time helping, that i wasn't able to get any pictures. But my family got many for us to enjoy.

October happenings
This month has gone by so fast. James came home the end of September. And just left the other day. he was home for a month. I don't know about other wives out there. But if we didn't need the money from James' job, I would love for him to stay home! I love spending every day with him. We get along better now, after almost 16 (yes that's right) years of being married, then we did when we first got married. I keep hoping that we win the lotto or something so that he can stay home.
Anyways, We got a few projects done while he was here. We, well he did it cause I wasn't home, put in a 5 foot wide fence to hide our garbage cans on the side of our house. Also we both along with the help of Kaleb, Austin and Austins friend, Bryce, dug up the area behind the fence so we could put in a cement pad. I have always hated seeing the garbage cans, so now we don't see them when you pull in the driveway. Sorry its late and i know I'm rambling.
Also, I went to Seattle (that's why i couldn't help with the fence) with my dear friend Lori. We flew out there so that we could drive her van home. It was shipped from Germany to Seattle. So we had an awesome road trip home. It was long, but I had a blast with her! She knew James before I met him, so it was great to hear a few stories about him :) hehe
We had a bonfire night with our neighbors, the Monson's. They had dinner and a pie contest. So I made my yummy Chocolate Ribbon pie. I didn't care about the win or anything, i just wanted to place. So the Judges went in to judge the pies... Then they came out to announce the winners. So they started with the first place winner. They had given us all a number so that they could us them to keep track. So they said, and the first place pie winner is, and they said number 1!! And Kaleb said YES!! That was our pie! Kaleb helped me make it. He used the beaters to mix it up. So it was a big deal to him. I let him go up and collect the prize. It was a lovely baking dish with yummy apples in it, and some of the Lavender Hill Honey!! Yummy Yummy!!
Let's see, what else? Oh yeah, umm I had a sinus, ear and chest infection. That was fun. I got antibiotics from the Dr. But I didn't finish them. So the infection ended up going into my broken tooth. It hurt so bad! Then the night before i could go to the dentist, the infection drained into my cheek and my jaw where my bad tooth was. It was horrible. It looked like I had a golf ball in my cheek! So my little chicken self went to the dentist with my wonderful hubby by my side :)
Dr. Larson is the best ever!! If you need a dentist, go to him! He fixed me up as much as he could for now, until the swelling is all the way gone. So I took the meds, and it made me very very sick! I thought I got the swine from my sis in law who was sick the day before i got sick. But nope. it was my meds. And of all days it happened, it was the one year anniversary of when my dad passed away :( I missed the whole day! I wasn't able to go the cemetery to let go of the balloons that we do. It was really hard for me to miss it! But James and Kaleb went, cause Austin was a bit sick too.
My dad... I miss him so much every day!! It hurts so bad knowing that he will not be here with us to live our lives. To see my kids grow up into wonderful men. He was such a great example to them and I hope that they hold that with them for the rest of their lives! My heart breaks for Julie. She lost her husband at such a young age! She is such an awesome lady! She was the one woman that made him so very very happy! I love and admire Ju with all of my heart! She is the best!
